What is Zumba?
Now I know you may already know what Zumba is, it's that dance workout that all the girls do in that one room you always pass by at the gym. Zumba is a fun and energetic fitness routine that involves elements of dance and aerobics that gives a full body workout, helps burn calories, a mood booster and improved coordination.
So why do it?
I know sometimes you may go to the gym and get tired of the treadmill or elliptical. Maybe you're feeling a bit less motivated from your runs and want to try something different. Zumba is a fun way to workout and help you lose weight while building endurance. Below I'll list more benefits of doing Zumba.

How Zumba's helped me
Zumba really helps give me an edge in the gym. I love practicing yoga and weight training but Zumba helps add another element of fun in the gym. I love doing different things outside of running on a treadmill or taking laps around a track. I also love to dance and really use my body in every movement and motion of a Zumba routine. I really feel the benefits of every workout during Zumba and put my all into it so I can receive the maximum benefits.
My challenge to you
I challenge each and every one of you to try something new at the gym this week. Find a Zumba class near you and join the party. Go kickboxing or maybe even try some yoga.
